About Me

MARCO EIGENFELD

Dr.-Ing. in Bioprocess Engineering/Biotechnology

With a solid academic background in bioengineering and bioprocess engineering, I possess extensive expertise in the fermentation and purification of proteins. In my previous role as a research assistant at the Technical University of Munich, I was actively involved in cloning for recombinant protein synthesis, as well as the subsequent fermentation and purification processes. During my studies, I developed the ability to design innovative process concepts that prioritize both sustainability and economic efficiency—skills I am currently applying in my postdoctoral research at the Medical University of Graz in Austria.

In addition to my technical skills, I bring a high level of dedication, curiosity, and motivation, which enable me to quickly and effectively adapt to new responsibilities. I am also experienced in managing projects and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
